Davis Voice

Hi, I'm Heather Davis Cuevas
I beleive that every voice, like every person, is unique. Let me help you achieve your full vocal potential by creating a voice that reflects who you are and all you can achieve.
All About Me
I’ve been working in professional voice since 2000 and feel fortunate to have dedicated my entire adult life to the voice. I love working with students of all ages and abilities and get so much satisfaction from seeing how they grow and develop in their skills and performance.
My undergraduate degree is in Creative Arts Therapy through which I studied the healing gained through engaging in the artistic process. I then went on to earn a Master of Arts in Vocal Performance from New York University in 2003 with a concentration in classical voice. I studied with with vocal pedagogue, Dr. Jeanne Goffi-Fynn and honed my contemporary music chops with Broadway great, Judy Blazer.
No stranger to the stage, I studied acting technique at the Barrow Group, the Atlantic Theater School, and Stellar Adler Studio. Most rewarding, I have taught classical and musical theater singing styles and performed professionally in New York and the surrounding regions for over a decade before pursuing a Master of Arts from the University of Maryland College Park, where I was recognized as the 2014 Outstanding Graduate in Speech-Language Pathology - my class’s top honor.
I work at the area’s top public research institution, where I specialize in adult and pediatric voice disorders, care of the professional voice, and facial nerve rehabilitation.
